Weekend Wrap up!

Yes, my weekend wrap up is VERY late.. but hey! better late then never, right?

I had a super great long weekend!  Friday was my first official unemployed day.  I went to the office to clean out my desk, then journeyed up to the lake:)  Boy did I need that.  Belle and I got to the lake around 10:30.  Bright and early!  If you haven't heard Carlyle Lake is high.  Theres water EVERYWHERE.  Seriously.  Friday we really just hung around the campsite, then went to have dinner at the V. in Carlyle,  MMM fish!  After dinner we headed out for a drive..  Did you know you can drive all the way around Carlyle.  Its many back and countrys roads, but boy is it pretty.  There were times where you could tell the water had flowed over the roads.  And I mean flowed..

Saturday, dad and I started our day with a nice motorcylce ride to McDonalds, while Jenny had to come to Belleville.  When Jenny got back we all decided to go for a swim.  We swam about 50 ft from where I took that picture.  Saturday night we watched the fireworks from...

Sunday, was ah.. Sunday.  Dad's friends Tom and Jerry came up to visit.. Then it stormed.. So we spent all afternoon inside.  I spent that time reading..

your probably thinking.. oh she read a book..  woopty doo.. But I DON'T read.  EVER.  I usually hate it. But this book, I LOVED IT. 

Monday morning we packed up and came home.  When I got home I went to lunch with my mom, gma, Aunt Ruth and Uncle Rick.  Then me mom and Gma went over to my Aunt Alice's and went swimming with her and my cousin Ashley.  We went and watched the fireworks in Dupo... Well that wrapped up my weekend.. How was yours?:)
