Life's Little Instructions
1. Sing in the shower.
2. Treat everyone you meet like you would like to be treated.
3. Watch a sunrise atleast once a year.
4. Never refuse homemade brownies.
5. Strive for excellence, not perfection.
6. Plant a tree on your birthday.
7. Learn three clean jokes.
8. Ruturn borrowed vehicles with a full tank of gas.
9. Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them.
10. Leave everything a little better then you found it.
11. Keep it simple.
12. Think big thought but relish small pleasures.
13. Become the most positive and enthusiastic person you know.
14. Be forgiving on yourself and others.
15. Say thank you.
16. Say please.
17. Avoid negative people.
18. Wear polished shoes.
19. Remember other people's birthdays.
20. Commit yourself to constant improvements.
21. Have a firm handshake.
22. Look people in the eye.
23. Be the first to say hello.
24. Return all things you borrow.
25. Make new friends but cherish the old.
26. Keep secrets.
27. Plant flowers every spring.
28. Have a dog.
29. Always accept an outstretched hand.
30. Stop blaming others.
31. Take responsibility for EVERY area of your life.
32. Wave at kids on a school bus.
33. Be there when people need you.
34. Don't expect life to be fair.
35. Never underestimate the power of love.
36. Drink cahmpagne for no reason at all.
37. Live your life as an exclamation, not an explanation.
38. Don't be afraid to say I made a mistake.
39. Don't be afraid to say I don't know.
40. Compliment even small improvements.

These were some of life's little instructions given by a 95 year old man, in 1993.
I read this and well, took notes. and it made me smile.
I'm going to add a couple of my own though.
47. Smile.
48. Cry.
49. Forgive, but never forget.
50. Dance in the rain.
51. Enjoy the SMALL things.
