Christmas 2011!

Boy oh boy was Christmas fun this year!!!!

I started my festivities off on Saturday.  First, I celebrated with my dad and Jenny.  I got a sewing machine and 4 Jason Aldean CD's, annual pajamas, new bed spread, and accessories for my sewing machine.  I spent most of Saturday with them, since  I wouldn't see them on Christmas day. 

After that, I celebrated Christmas with the Johnson Family(dad's side).  Which was fun as always.  I drank dern near a whole bottle of UV Cherry Vodka and I'm pretty sure the rest of the girls there polished off a few bottles of wine!!! My brother had to work on Christmas Eve this year, so we FaceTime'd with him so He could be there with us!!! Oh Technology how I love thee!  We opened presents and played some Catch Phrase.  We also had two special guests, my 'little brothers' Jimmy and Cody Mecalo! Which they surprised me, they live in Arkansas, and They called me Saturday night asking what I was doing. and they wanted to stop by and see me.  I had no clue they were here!!!!!

Just for the record the guy in the green and the kid in the white are standing straight up!!!!!

Ok.. So look at this... the top is last year and the bottom is this year! They pretty red head is my brother's Grilfriend.  And she has worked her butt off to get where she is!!!! Doesn't she look awesome!!!!

Sunday Morning, bright and early, Mom and I packed up the car and headed over to Toney and Lydia's to celebrate Christmas with them! We started off the morning with PaPa breakfast!! Which is scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes all cooked together! It was delicous!!!  Then we opened present and I think everyone got everything they wanted.  Including mom! She got a GPS.

After all the festivities, I headed up for a nap, and was back at it.  I went to the Long family Christmas(mom's family) which was fun! Nothing to exciting happened there, other then my aunt sticking her nose where it doesn't belong.  It really wasn't a shock!

I went to the surprise place, after that.  Nothing surprising happened there either.  It was fun! but awkward.  And I was super excited about going there, but then... This morning I got yelled at for going.. but thats really a whole other subject.

Well that was my Christmas.  How was yours??

Merry Christmas/Confession Friday

First and for most, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

I will be sure to take lots and lots of pictures of my family Christmas' and the surprise place where I will be on Christmas day!!!! I cannot wait!!!!

I confess that I didn't wake up until 11 today, and then took a nap from 1 to 3.. oops.

I confess that I cannot wait to Christmas! and Christmas Eve!!!

I love the Johnson Family and I don't see them near enough!!!!!

I confess I cannot wait for the surprise place, There will be absolutely no presents there, just time together.  Which rarely accures with that family!! But I can't wait to be a part of it!!!

I confess that Santa Claus is coming to town.:)

I confess that I'm extremely happy my mom and dad still spoil me like they did when I was younger, on Christmas.  And they claim they will until I have kids of my own:)

and then they will spoil my children.

I confess I haven't shaved my legs in 4 days. And I don't plan to today either.  There really is no point.  Wear pants and noone ever has to know!

I confess I saw a video on YouTube last night and bawled!!!!

I confess that sometimes when I walk through a store and hear people talking about the most random junk, I sometimes want to put my opinion in.

I confess that Andrew text me yesterday, to tell me how his first day at work went, and he was complaining that he only got 5 hours of sleep... I really wanted to rip him a new butt hole.. Seriously, your a firefighter... You will have many many many sleepless nights, and thats EXACTLY what you wanted.

I confess that Sunday is Taryn's 24th Birthday and tonight we are celebrating!!! I'm super excited!!!

We're going to Texas Roadhouse, then bowling!!!!

I confess that a while back the fire department did some training in a house in Dupo, and there was a bunch of stuff in it.. including this really cool chair... Well one of the firemen took it home.. and guess what....

I found a chair just like it on Pinterest...

I confess that the Spelling Manor is over 70,000 square feet... Really... What the hell would ANYONE do with that much space!!!!!???

I confess I really want to go Ice Skating..

But I confess, I can't go Ice Skating unless I go with someone who can skate and will hold my hand.  I'm not very good:)

I confess that I wish I was in Georgia right now!!!!!!

I confess that I am insanely proud of Andrew and what he has done!!!!

I confess that I wish I could have went out with Kim, Cassie, and Sarah K. last night!!!! Margs sound soo good!!!! Please invite me again soon!!

I confess that I babysitting Connor tomorrow night, and I have to take him to a 6 year old birthday party at some bounce house place.. UGH.. Hurt me now!!!!! PLEASE!!!

Nonetheless, its time with Connor so I'll live.

I confess I'm going to miss Pujols.  I'm not going to lie, but SHUT UP about it!!!! He left.  Let him leave.  He will regret it and everyone knows that.  Let him learn his lessons and until then we have the rest of OUR Cardinals to play the game.  Pujols was ONE player not the WHOLE damn team!!!!!

I confess that I tried to get my mom to buy me margarita mix and tequila at Walmart tonight... It didn't work.

I confess that I've see a few pins on pinterest about recreating old pictures.  I think this would be a totally awesome idea for my mom for Christmas or something!!! I know she would totally love it, if only I could get my brother to do it with me!!!

I confess I want another tattoo.. REALLY bad!!! And I want this...

But I have 2 tattoos both on my foot.. do I really need the third on my foot??

Happy Graduation!!

Today is the day.  Andrew is graduating from the Fayette County Fire Academy!!!

I wish I was there to celebrate with him.   It has been quiet the journey over the past year and I cannot express how proud I am of him.  He has worked extremely hard to get where he is today. 

Next week, Andrew will report to his first official shift as a Fireman.  He has been a firefighter for 10 years. Holy Moly.. Ten stinkin years.  He started as an Explorer for Dupo Fire Department.  Then onto Cahokia.  He was a firefighter in Cahokia for 8 of those 10 years.  He's had so rough times and some awesome times. 

I don't have any pictures of him actually fighting fires, but he sure does make one good lookin fireman!!!

I want Andrew to know that I wish him all the best in everything he does.  I know he is an awesome firefighter and an even more awesome person.  He would drop anything for anyone.  Even a stranger.  Obviously.  I want him to work as hard as he can to be all the he can be.  He has had some of the best training as a volunteer firefighter and now as a paid firefighter. 

All fireman are heros, but Andrew T. McIntyre, is one of my favorites.

There's one thing that I told Andrew EVERY single time he left for a fire call. and I'll say it forever! Be safe, and I love you!!!!

Junk'n

So.. Pretty much anyone that knows anything about me, know I love Goodwill. And I'll say it loud and proud for the whole world to hear.  In high school I wore the same cloths as all the girls I went to school with and paid a fraction of what they paid for their cloths. 

Me and my mom usually go once every two weeks.. and we call it junk'n.  In the summer we go yardsale'n too!

Bad Drivers!

Excuse me for a moment while I step up onto my soap box.

Okay, I know I am not the world's best driver, but...

People don't know how to drive, and its driving me insane!!!

Has anyone ever heard of Scott's Law??  Well, apparently not!!!  Know what it is??  I don't know the exact words but whenever you see a cop, firemen, or any emegency vehicle on the side of the road you're supposed to slow down AND get over!!! Maybe I'm just partial because I'm extremely close to MANY fireman, police officers, and emergency personel, but GET OVER!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!! Those people have families, and friends they need to go home to!

I know I have a bit of a lead foot, and don't always 'buckle up', or completely stop at EVERY stop sign all the time, but I have NEVER in my life completely blown through a stop sign!! Can't do it! Don't have it in me!  Multiple time THIS week I've seen people completely blow through stop signs!

Really?? No need!  Wednesday night I was coming home at like 1:30 in the morning.. Coming down Main Street in Dupo, I noticed there was a trash truck on the road behind my house.  There is a shape turn right before you get to my house on this road and I didn't want to meet the truck on that turn so I was paying attention to where he was.  So I turn my blinker on to turn down the back road and what do you know... Theres the trash truck!! blew straight through the stop sign and right on to Main Street.  Luckily I was paying attention or this guy would have CREAMED me!! Seriously!!

And people that speed down side streets.. Speeding on the interstate is one thing, but speeding on side streets where there are children just erks me! Seriously!! Children are precious and irreplaceable! Slow your dumb ass down!!!

One more thing before I step down, Ever notice how many people don't properly secure their children in carseats???  If you have never seen this, please bring yourself right on down to Cahokia, and pay attention! You'll see 5 kids in the back seat of a car. From the age of 2 to 10 and not a single car seat! Seriously. It happens.  You see toddlers standing in the back seat waving a people!! I wish I could give people tickets!
