Weekend Wrap-up

Well, I sure did enjoy my day off Friday, even if I didn't get to see Andrew like I had hoped!  I slept til almost 10.  I decided maybe it might be a good day to lay in the pool at dad's house and boy was I wrong, the water was ICE cold, after that I went to lunch with Toney, Lydia and Little Tony, and then we went to Wal-Mart.
By the time I got home my mom had called and wanted to know if I wanted to go to Kohl's with her and my Aunt Nancy.  I never pass up a trip to Kohl's expecially when Mom has a 30% coupon.  I got a new pair of shorts and a few summer shirts and a pair of those AWESOME Adidas Flip-Flops with the memory foam bottom.  We only planned to be out for a couple hours.  And finally 5 hours and a couple aching dogs later we finally settled in at Steak 'n' Shake for a later dinner.
Saturday morning me and Mom took Grandma to the grocery store then we met my Aunt Ruth and Uncle Rick at the Grill & Grape in Columbie for some YUMMY lunch!!!!

MMM Buffalo Ranch Pizza

Later me and Mom took my cousins Ashley and Jared to the City Museum.  GEEZ it was crowded.  There are alot of new things to do there, and alot of thing blocked off because they're making them better.  They have a new arts and crafts room where you can paint pictures or mold clay and make things out of old material.

My cute little clay Fireman!

Me and Ashley!

Once I got home Saturday night, my ear starting hurting, it was a tolorable pain, not to bad though.  By the time I went to lay down in bed it was horrible, I mean HORRIBLE.  I was crying from the pain.  My brother finally came home from a wedding and I asked him what to do and he told me there really wasn't much but put some warm Olive Oil in it.  Oh Ma Gosh! it felt soo much better,  unfortunately it was already 3 a.m. when the pain went down.
Sunday I woke up to my ear killing me, again, so I put some more Olive Oil in it, ahhh relief.  Sunday night, I went for a motorcycle ride with Dad.  We took our normal route to the levee in Columbia,  Geesh is it flooded down there.  You could tell where the water went over the road from the storms on Saturday.  But it looked like we were going to get rained on so we had to cut our ride short.  and what do you know, it didnt rain all evening:(.

Well thats my weekend.  How was yours?

Confession Friday

I confess that I'm SUPER proud of Andrew and everything he has accomplished over the last 7 months.

I confess that I'm addicted to the Disney Channel! Good Luck Charlie sucks me in everytime.

I confess that I was really excited to go to Nashville today and see Andrew, but unfortunately, he is testing for another fire department tomorrow, so were going to have to plan for another day.  Good Luck Babe!!!! I know you'll do awesome!

I confess that I spent 3 hours with the Roscow's last night and loved every second of it!

These boys sure do make me smile:)

I confess that I'm super excited to be off work today! Every now and again everyone needs a day off work, besides Saturday and Sunday.  Hello 3 day weekend.

Well I think that pretty good for my first Confession Friday!

Wordless Wednesday!

My First Post!

Here goes.  My life isnt to exciting, someone will get a kick out of this (I hope).

Everyone always asks me "How Andrew is doing?" and well I thought this would be a good way to help answer the question.

If you're completely lost, Andrew (my boyfriend) decided last year to start taking test to be a firefighter, anywhere and everywhere that was testing.  In May of last year, I came home from work to him sitting on the couch and he asked me "What do you think about Georgia?"  I was completely lost at first, but then he said he wanted to test for a fire dept. there. And I told him to go right ahead, thinking if nothing else I could go with him and we could make a little vacation out of it.  Needless to say he passed, then he passed the physical, then the doctors physical, then the background check and interview.  He started his new 'dream' job November 15, 2010.  He loves Georgia, every single bit of it, besides the fact that I'm not there(I hope).

On March 28, 2011, Andrew was laid off, but on March 30, 2011 they were no longer getting laid off.  That wasn't the end of it though, April 1, 2011, April Fools Day, I get the dreaded text message, "We're laid off again."  I thought forsure Andrew was playing a joke on me, but he wasnt.  Andrew and all 82 of his brothers and sister were jobless.

Andrew, then, applied for a job with Northern Georgia Medical Transport, and when the lady from HR found out he was one of the 82 laid-off fireman she quickly gave him a full-time position. He asks me all the time, Do you can if I test here? do you mind if I test there? its a constant thing.  All he wants to do is be a firefighter.

Well, enough about Andrew, when all this happened, I couldn't afford on my own to stay in the Duplex where Andrew and I lived, so I moved in with my ever-so-wonderful brother and his girlfriend.  Which is nice.  I really do like living there, but my dog and their dog don't get along at all.  They have a Great Dane, and I have a Chiuahuah/Dotson.

Belle, my dog, is nothing less than a Princess, and she enjoys every minute of it.  She goes everywhere but work with me, and knows whether I'm going to work, or my moms, or dads.  She knows. Trust me!

Well, thats my first post.  YAY!
