Halloween!!!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.  right after my birthday:)


This year I laid low and went with my mom to my aunt and uncles house.  they don't usually dress up, but Mom and I decided to change that. and this is what we were...

The scary part about these costumes is, we had it all at home.  The costumes mom bought at a yard sale last summer for 5 bucks, and the shoes, I'm wearing my rain boots, I scored at Target in the spring for 7 bucks and mom is wearing a pair of polka dot shoes she bought for some ungod known reason!


Once we got to Nancy's we helped her decorate.. funny I didn't take a single picture of the decorations.  My cousins girlfriend Anne-Marie was there.  She dressed up too, but she came straight from work.  She's a teacher in Cahokia, and her students totally thought her costume was awesome! and I have to admit it was pretty cute. 

And soon my cute little cousin little red riding hood (Natalie) showed up, and boy I tell ya, she was cute!  See for yourself!

Then, the owners of The Harmon Bakery came by with their little cupcake!

Well that was about it for my Halloween!

Weekend Wrap Up!:)

Well, as I promised, heres your weekend wrap up!  Its late but hey, you got it:)

Friday night as I promised, we went to some Haunted Houses! O.M.G. was it fun!  We started out at Brandy Inn before we went all the way to Eureka.  Don't worry I was the D.D.  safety first folks. 

After my GPS couldn't find the address to the first H.H. we just decided we know its by Six Flags so we'll drive out there and stop and ask.  So we get to Eureka and stop and apparently it was right down the road, which it was.  Terror Cave, legit, its in a cave, a huge cave.  It was really cool, there was a part that had a maze made out of latice and strobe lights.. when put together it looks like the walls are moving.. Oh lord, that was trippy.  and this girl tried to stop Taryn and Kelli by holding them back, and kept touching me in the process, which they aren't supposed to do, and I told her to quit touching me and she told me she was gunna kick me out.. oops.. She didn't though.:)   at the end there was a man trying to scare you with a chain saw.  too bad those don't do anything for us! but we did get the most blurry picture ever with him!

Next we went to Red's Corn Maze Massacure and Farmer Bill's Haunted Hayride.

None of us had ever been to a Corn Maze, but boy it was fun!  We made friends with the door guy.  His name is Steve, he works for MoDot and some company that does hayrides for Six Flags, and he drive carriages down town.  Man of may trades.

After the Corn Maze came the Haunted Hayride, which really wasn't that haunted, but it was fun and we made friends with this guy.

He rode the enitre ride with us.

After the H.H's we mozied our way back to the 'ill' side and heading to Brandy Inn for a bit then Good Tymes.  It was pretty uneventful but fun:)

Saturday was pretty uneventful, I didn't plan on going out or anything, but around 7 Lisa text me and asked me if I was going to Stephens, and of course I said yes.  Robbins Halloween Party is always fun!!! Usually just a big bonfire and hayride around Cahokia.  lots of friends food and beer, which makes for a happy Kati. 
The boys enjoyed letting go latterns.  They were really neat.  Then after the drinks started flowing someone was bright enough to make a joke about playing Duck Duck Goose.  Who knew Duck Duck Goose and alcohol would be soo fun!! Cus OMG it sure was a blast!!!!!!! like you have no idea..  I'm pretty sure Lisa and I slipt and fell multiple times but it was still fun! Damn Ugg boots have no traction on damp grass. 

Sunday was really uneventful! I went shopping with mom for a little while, then out to dinner with Andrew's Grandpa.  and back home and hung out all night at home.  Fun..

Confession Friday Folks!

I confess that I'm super excited for tonights festivities, with new friends!
      I'm going with Taryn, Kelli, and Jess to Eureka Butcher and Farmer Bill's Haunted Hayride!  I'll let you know how they are come Monday! Promise to do a Weekend Wrap up Monday:)

I confess that I spent 2 hours Wednesday night trying to teach a 5 year old to read a 5 word sentence.
     Any advice on teaching them to read??  He knows how he just does not want to take 10 minutes away from playing to do his homework..
          
And I confess, Did you have homework in Kindergarten??  I don't think I did!

I confess I've been fooled a time or two in my life by people I thought were good for me, but I'm starting to believe people just try to pull things over on me.  Like, No Seriously.  Some people just deserve a good smack in the face.

I confess that if I see one more thing about the "Breaking Dawn" I'm going to snap..  If you like Twilight I'm sorry, but I boycott everything about it! Never read a single book or watched a single movie. 
     I've actually left a friends house on 'Movie Night' because I have no desire to ever see them, IN MY LIFE!

I confess that as much as I love my dog, sometimes I just wish I could send her to Andrew.  Just for a day, because I'd miss her after that.  But Gees Lois... She has to be up my butt 24/7 and im tired of it!
     She's always afraid I'm going to leave her.  And, yes I do leave her at home, but I rarely go somewhere and leave her there.

I confess that I miss all my friends. 
     I've realized lately that 90% of my close friends have children, and while I wouldn't trade my 'neices and nephews' for anything in the world.  I just want to go out and have a good time with them all again!

And along with that, I confess I'm certainly glad I don't have kids of my own. 

I confess I'm watching Casper right now, and boy, this movie never gets old.:)

I confess that I was called an alcoholic yet again, this week.  By my ex.  (surprise, surprise)
     How am I an alcoholic??? Please tell me.  I got to Brandy when my friend is working and drink Dr. Pepper.  I go on the occasional Saturday night and drink alcohol, but not very frequently.  Really, if that make me an alcoholic.. Hmmmm...

I confess that I want an 'occasional' boyfriend.
     Occasional, as in, takes me out to dinner everyonce in a while; goes out on the weekends with me; tells me how pretty I look; cuddles in bed with me and watches scary movies.  But when I want some alone time, or girl time he'd be completely cool with that. 

I confess, I'm tired of looking for a job.  I want one like crazy but I'm begining to lose all hope.  I've applied for seriously over 100 and not a single call back!  UGH!!!!

I confess that I really wish I had a pretty blog with cute pictures and a sweet background! I just dont know how to do all that stuff.

New Obsessions:)

Well, there really is absolutely no reason for this blog besides the fact that I've been slacking the entire time I've had a blog and I wanted to post something, so I hope you enjoy it.

New favorite TV show:  It's totally not like the rest of the shows I watch, but Im addicted to it!

Oh my.  If you haven't seen it, watch it soon!!! It's crazy but good!!!! Promise.  You do have to pay a bit of attention though!

New favorite songs:  If you hang out with me frequently you might think its Dirty Road Anthum, by my future husband Jason.  But its not!!! I've found a new love for Gary Allen Songs

 and Lady GaGa...(just shoot me)  I never really liked her until this song came out!

Still not a huge fan of her, but I absolutely love this song!

New drink of choice:  Its a toss up! Depending on if I'm in the mood for beer or not, but both are super delicious!

Favorite Food:  I've renewed my love with Salads.  I've had one a day everyday this week.  And not that health kid of salad either!  I like loads of cheese and bacon bits and dressing.  Yum If it wasnt so late I'd go make me one right now:)

I confess that I doubt I will get out of bed until time to hang out with Kelly later.:)

I confess I am soo totally stocked to hang out with my long lost best friend Kelly tonight!!! I feel like I haven't seen her in ages! I miss her soo!

I confess that I've found a new love for documentaries about the Mob.. Thats one thing they should teach you more about in History class in high school.

I confess that I was pretty mad at Hickey College last night, when I found out they now have a business casual dress code!!! I hated dressing up every single day to go there, and once I got a job, I don't think I wore half the cloths I did while I was in school!!! Lame!

I confess that I need to do laundry, but truth is, I just don't think its going to get done today:(  bah! I've got enough cloths I probably really wouldn't have to do laundry for atleast three weeks.

Well, my confessions are totally lame this week.  But what do you  confess?:)

Life Lately!

Well Well Well.. its been quiet sometime since I've wrote a blog so I'll catch you up!

Well, this whole being laid off thing is for the birds!!! Let all your friends know this girl is looking for a JOB!!! I need one! I want one!!! Please!!!

I've been keeping busy though.  Maybe not always doing the most productive things, but I'm making it fun! 

I finally can say I've been to Miles Cemetary.  And boy O' boy was it beautiful!

The Dupo Fire Department did Firefighter Survival Training and I was there to witness all the excitement and take some pictures.  I'm beginning to think I could do that.  I never saw myself as a firefighter, but that day I was really itching to get into gear and do the things that they were doing...  See it looks fun.

I've had a few fun, crazy nights at the Brandy Inn.  Some people think I'm there too much but I'm 21.  Most 21 year old are still in college and living the college life.  I never got to do that, so I'm starting now!!!!!

I also did Bikes for Tykes this year.  For those of you that arent from Dupo, Its a poker run on bicycles to all the local bars in Dupo.  It was a blast.  So glad Taryn dragged me to it.  I drank myself sober twice in one day.. Who knew that was possible.  I rode a tandom bike for the first time.  That was a blast too!!

I attended The Ortega Wedding as Taryn's date.  Selena was GOREGOUS! as always.  They had a photobooth so of course we had some fun!!!!!

I, also, went to a Poker Run around Southern Illinois.  And might I tell you, I live in a goregous state.  I didnt take any pictures but another girl on the ride did. So I stole a couple of hers:)

Recently, I've  been babysitting  this handsome little boy:)

I love being his Aunt Kati!  I've even turned him onto Fire trucks!  For Halloween hes even going to be a Fire Truck man!!! I swear no coaching was involved.

Last week was homecoming in Dupo, and along with Homecoming, the high school has a bonfire on Thursday night. And!!! Being the awesome Aunt Kati I am.  I took him on a fire truck!!!!  He enjoyed it!!

The next day was the parade, and guess what Aunt Kati did again!!! He got to ride in the parade on a fire truck! but me being the dumb dumb that I am sometimes I didnt get a picture of it!  Silly me.  But I didnt get a picture before the parade of Connor and the Tiger.

I've been losing weight too.  Don't ask me how because I have no clue, but 14 pounds down! I'm not telling you were I started though.:)

And tonight, Connor and I did this!
